RSS Reader
Here is an example of an RSS Reader. This sample includes an RSS Reader pulling an RSS feed from Microsoft. The XmlTextReader is used to load the feed into a DataSet. LINQ (Language Integrated Query) is used to query the DataTable in the DataSet and retrieve the fields of interest. The result query is then assigned to the GridView Source and bound using DataBind. The query is cached using the Cache object and stored for a set period of time. If the Cache object does not exist, or expires, the object is Cached and stored.
